2309 West Main Street
Richmond, VA 23220
Dear neighbor,
After years of dreaming and conversations with friends about opening a sober third space in Richmond, Ours has finally found a space to land in the real world — a two story building near the corner of Strawberry and West Main Street.
We’re currently collaborating with Acme Architecture and Chopper Dawson Inc. to build out the 2,424 square-foot space into a shared studio, event space, classroom, and gathering place for Richmond locals to enjoy.
We open our doors in January 2025.
What we're building
Within this space, you'll find cozy corners for co-working, playful interactions, engaging conversations, offline moments of serenity, shared meals, and the chance to connect with kindred spirits. Reciprocity is the core pillar of Ours.
The seeds you sow are the fruits you harvest. By working and playing alongside one another, we can collectively shape our work and life into something we all desire. Ours is a space to earn a livelihood, enjoy living, and shine light on each other.

Operational costs
Ours sustains itself on a membership model, using funds to create an inviting space for collaboration, focused work, and public programming. We envision a welcoming environment that prioritizes meaningful connections over becoming a corporate co-working click farm, aiming for a balance of work and play. This is a breakdown of the underlying financials.
A soft place to land
With Ours, we hope the community finds a place of refuge, meaningful conversations, and learn from one another. As a sober space it will allow us to meet each other as we are. We invite you to stay in touch as we put the finishing touches on the space ahead of our neighborhood debut in January. You can subscribe to our newsletter with the link below.
