Ours is a shared workspace by day and a gathering place by night, built with the people who use it.
Our story
Ours started as years of conversations with friends about a place in Richmond to work and gather. In 2024 we took over the two-story building at 2309 West Main Street, a former Pilates studio, and opened it as a shared workspace by day and a gathering place by night.
Downstairs, ten communal desks sit between the lounge and the kitchen, and that floor is where most events happen. Upstairs holds the sixteen dedicated desks and a meeting room.
Reciprocity is at the center of it. The people who use Ours shape what it becomes by working alongside each other and helping keep the space open.
